Background
The BC Public School Employers' Association (BCPSEA) has developed a series of workshops for HR , labour relations, and other topics related to the workplace that's specific to the public education field. It received great feedback from members, and grew organically as the organization identified more needs for ongoing professional development opportunities for its members. It became very successful over time, but without its own identity and web presence, it was difficult to raise awareness, market the workshops to newer members and potentially an external audience.
Results
A name, independent identity program, and a standalone website were developed, where new members can be easily directed. The workshop registration process is now fully integrated into the site via an e-commerce platform, making it easier to sign up for classes. A Resources Library is built to house historical documents and other learning materials, where it will be easy to search and access. The organization now has a flexible, scalable tool that can function as both a member-onboarding portal and a continued learning resource.
